Agiliux at the 14th Asia Insurance Brokers’ Summit: Reflections from Jakarta

Jul 30, 2026 | Events

The 14th Asia Insurance Brokers' Summit is an annual gathering of commercial brokers, reinsurers, and intermediaries across Asia, held to discuss trends shaping the broking industry. The 2026 edition, themed "The Future Broker: Reinvention and Strategic Roadmap Towards 2030," took place on 22-23 July in Jakarta, Indonesia, with Agiliux participating as an exhibitor.

Agiliux exhibited at the 14th Asia Insurance Brokers’ Summit, held on 22–23 July 2026 at the Pullman Jakarta Thamrin CBD, where broking leaders from across Asia gathered to discuss the industry’s roadmap towards 2030.

The summit’s theme, “The Future Broker: Reinvention and Strategic Roadmap Towards 2030,” set the tone for two days of candid conversations. Brokers, reinsurers, and intermediaries weren’t just talking about technology adoption in the abstract. They were asking sharper, more specific questions: how much of a broker’s day should still involve manual data entry, how quickly a platform can turn a bordereaux into usable reinsurance data, and what “AI-native” actually means versus what’s simply AI-enabled.

Our CEO, Mohandeep Singh, and COO, Sarabjeet Kaur, spent the two days in conversations with brokers navigating exactly these questions. A recurring theme: brokers don’t want more dashboards. They want fewer decisions left to manual judgment, and more confidence that the data behind those decisions is accurate the first time.

For us, the summit reinforced something we already believed: broking in Asia, the Middle East, and beyond is at an inflection point. The brokers reinventing themselves aren’t the ones adding more software on top of old processes. They’re the ones rebuilding the process itself around clean, structured data.

It was a genuinely useful two days of conversation, and we’re grateful to everyone who stopped by to talk. If you were at the summit and want to continue the conversation, feel free to reach out.
